The power of each Loomian species is measured by its Loomian Statistics, or Stats. Loomians have seven statistics: Health, Energy, Melee Attack, Melee Defense, Ranged Attack, Ranged Defense and Speed.

Statistics[]

Health[]

The Health stat is the maximum hit-points a Loomian can have in battle, determining how much damage a Loomian can take. It is represented by a green bar. The bar turns yellow if below 50% HP and red if below 20%.

A Loomian's health can be restored in-battle by certain medicine, items or moves and in Loomian Trainer Stations outside of battle. When a Loomian's Health reaches 0, it faints and cannot be sent into battle again until it is healed in a Loomian Trainer Station. Health is not restored after a battle ends.

Energy[]

The Energy stat is the maximum energy points a Loomian has in battle, determining how many moves it can use before tiring out. It is represented by a purple bar.

Using a move depletes the same number of energy points as its energy cost. If a Loomian does not have enough energy to use a certain move, it will flail in exhaustion, dealing the equivalent of a Melee Move with 30 Strength to the target and 1/8th of the user's maximum Health as recoil. This attack has the "Null" typing, which hits every type with neutral damage. In Double Battles, Flail hits a random opponent. Any remaining energy is drained.[1] It also bypasses Dodge.

Loomians are completely re-energized after a battle ends, but not when withdrawn during a match. To replenish energy in battle, a Loomian has to spend a turn using either "Wait" or "Rest". "Wait" recovers ⅓ of its maximum energy without any defensive penalty, while "Rest" refills ⅔ of its maximum energy at the cost of reducing its defenses by 1 stage for that turn, risking significant damage if a Loomian rests at the wrong time.

Melee and Ranged Attack[]

Attack influences the damage a Loomian deals when it uses a move.

It is split into Melee Attack and Ranged Attack. Which stat is used in damage calculations depends on the move category; a Melee Move uses Melee Attack, while a Ranged Move uses Ranged Attack.

Melee and Ranged Defense[]

Defense influences the damage a Loomian takes when it is hit by a move.

Like Attack, Defense is also split into Melee Defense and Ranged Defense. When a Loomian is hit by a Melee move, its Melee Defense is used in the damage calculation, and if it is damaged by a Ranged move, Ranged Defense is used.

Speed[]

Speed determines the order that Loomians act in a battle. The Loomian with higher Speed always moves first unless the opponent uses a move with a higher priority or makes an action that is not a move (such as resting, switching out or using an item). If two Loomians have the exact same Speed and uses moves with the same priority, the game decides randomly which will go first.

Three numbers contribute to the final stat: Base Stat, Unique Point, and Training Point.

Stat Table

Each row indicates the Base Stats, UPs, TPs, and final value of a specific stat.

Base Stats[]

Base stats are the same for all Loomians of the same species and contribute the most to the final stat. The base stats of a Loomian can roughly be seen on the radar chart in the Loomians LoomiWatch app as the solid shape in the middle of the chart.

It is impossible to change a Loomian's base stats, though Loomians evolving into a different species will adopt the base stats of its new form.

Unique Points[]

Unique Points (UPs) are randomly generated for a Loomian when it is first encountered. Two Unique Points are equivalent to a single Base Stat.

Unique Points range from 0 to 40 for every stat and can be increased or decreased using Shards and Dark Shards, respectively. The number of Unique Points for a certain stat correspond with a symbol that is found next to the number.

Training Points[]

Training Points (TPs) start at 0 and increases when a Loomian earns experience in battle. The number and type of TP gained depends on the Loomian defeated. They can also be gained through the use of Training Gummies and leftover TP Resets. Eight Training Points are equivalent to a single Base Stat.

Each Loomian can gain up to 200 Training Points in each stat and no more than 500 in total. Players are able to reallocate the amount of TPs gained by unassigning and reassigning them to their desired stat.

And all other stats are calculated using the formula:

  • Base is the relevant base stat for that Loomian species.
  • UP is the Loomian's Unique Points in the relevant stat.
  • TP is the Loomian's Training Points in the relevant stat.
  • Level is the Loomian's level.
  • Personality is either 1.2, 1.1, 1, 0.9 or 0.8, depending on whether the personality of the Loomian increases, decreases or doesn't affect the relevant stat.

Results are rounded down before applying the Personality multiplier.

Stat Modifiers[]

Some moves (such as Sharpen) apply an in-battle stat modifier to a Loomian that can affect that Loomian's Melee Attack, Ranged Attack, Melee Defense, Ranged Defense or Speed stat. Stat modifiers are temporary and will vanish when the Loomian is switched out or the battle ends. They can stack up to six stages and apply a multiplier to the stat as follows:

Attempts to raise or lower a stat further than six stages will have no effect, and the move will fail if it does not have any other effects.

Some moves may change a stat by more than one stage, and the number of stages a move alters causes different messages to be displayed. The messages displayed depending on the number of stages altered is as follows:

+2 "Loomian's stat sharply rose!"
+1 "Loomian's stat rose!"
−1 "Loomian's stat fell!"
−2 "Loomian's stat harshly fell!"
−3 or further "Loomian's stat severely fell!"
