Idk why its down but smogon wants to add a freeze clause but people don't really want that because pokemon showdown is supposed to be a simulator. A sleep clause is a thing that people can agree on because you can choose to put a pokemon to sleep or not. A freeze clause is random so people can't agree on not freezing a pokemon twice so smogon would have to change the game which is controversial becaue showdown emulates the game its not supposed to change it.
