Aranatta Trench is a trench in the Rorian Sea that contains the ancient ruins of the Lost City. Judgement's Keep is accessible from this area.

Notable Events[]

Clearing the Path to the Lost City[]

The rest of the group remains in the submarine, while Mr. Ferrix tells the player to use their Bubble Helmet application to swim through the trench. They must defeat any POLUT Corp. guards they encounter, so the submarine can approach the Lost City. All of the battles against the guards are Double Battles.

Baby Moldecca Sighting[]

In a nearby pit, the player spots a half a dozen Loomians swimming around that bear resemblance to Moldecca. Mr. Ferrix informs the player that these are the offspring of the colossal Moldecca, and that on his first expedition to Aranatta Trench, Moldecca was resting there. Then, when it recently left the trench to circle Atlanthian City, Mr. Ferrix noticed a certain red rock at the bottom of the pit. Lucas proposes that it wants to devour Atlanthian City, but Mr. Ferrix dismisses this theory. Ferrix does say, however, that he knows Moldecca is very, very old, as it was depicted in a mural unearthed from the Lost City. However, he claims that Moldecca has never shown signs of aggressive behaviour, so it is likely not a threat. He concludes the call by saying he hopes to learn Moldecca's true role in history one day.
