Once all of the player's friends are rounded up, they meet at Atlanthian Museum. Inside, much to everyone's surprise, are the player's parents. They tell the player that they were tired of being stuck in their lab for so long, and that they also wanted to see their child. Additionally, the water around Atlanthian City interrupted the signal, making it harder for them to detect where the next piece of the tablet was.
Benjamin, a friend of theirs who works at the museum, gave them a spare room to set up their equipment in. They then conclude that the stone piece is inside the dome. Next, they explain to the player and their friend group that Benjamin has something to show them. First, he shows the group a model of the Lost City, an ancient city that is thought to be the oldest civilization in all of Roria. Then, he shows them the main attraction: a stone tablet very similar to the corrupt one. Benjamin explains that when it was discovered, a set of murals were found nearby, which explain how Levvenos brought life to The Planet, how Akkuwari arrived on the planet and corrupted the life there, and how the two ancient beings fought, with both being injured and sealed away.
Lore[]
"SEARCHING THE COSMOS
A NEW HOME IS FOUND"
The first mural depicts a Great Light which descends upon a desolate rock in space. The desolate rock represents the Earth, before any life existed thereon. The Great Light represents a vessel carrying the original Soul Crystal, known as the Soul Heart. Some theories suggest that the Great Light is nothing more than a large meteor which crashed into the earth. However, the tablet refer to the vessel carrying the Soul Heart as Levvenos, and suggests it may have actually been an ancient creature from another world.
"THE CRYSTAL GAVE LIFE
THE CRYSTAL IS ALIVE"
The Soul Heart was embedded into the earth, and a network of Soul Crystals grew throughout the entire planet. This gave Levvenos the power to fill the globe with life, crafting a habitable sphere to be home for its other creations. Both Humans and Loomians were then created to live in harmony and to build a perfect Utopia.
"THE LIGHT'S GIFT
THE SOURCE OF LIFE"
Under the direction of Levvenos, Humans learned to harness the power of the Soul Crystal network to build Levvenos' kingdom. Together, they formed a thriving kingdom of wondrous architecture and technology. Unfortunately, their prosperity did not last forever.
"INSATIABLE HUNGER
HEARTS TURNED TO VIOLENCE"
One day, a foul, dreadful creature appeared on the earth, and threatened all life thereon. It is described as a being of two parts-infectious corruption, and insatiable hunger. This earned it the name Akkuwari, meaning "The End of Humanity." Akkuwari fed on the planet's Soul Crystal veins, absorbing its power. Akkuwari used this power to infect anything in its wake with a disease that corrupted the mind, turning Humans and Loomians violent against one another. Feasting on Soul Crystals would leave the area as lifeless and desolate as it had been before Levvenos appeared.
"OTHERWORLDLY THREAT APPEARS
LIGHT AND DARK CLASH"
Eventually, all that remained of the Soul Crystals was the Soul Heart, which Levvenos personally protected. This led to a fight of titanic proportions. In the end, Levvenos knew it could not conquer Akkuwari. Using the power of the Soul Heart, Levvenos unleashed an attack that left both it and Akkuwari mortally wounded.
"LIGHT AND DARK DEFEATED
DARKNESS SEALED AWAY"
The few humans which survived this calamity found the incapacitated remains of Levvenos and Akkuwari. They managed to transplant Akkuwari's power into a depleted Soul Crystal, and moved it somewhere far away. Levvenos burrowed deep within the earth, where it is said it will slumber for eternity, wounded by its great battle.
"POWER TO CREATE
POWER TO DESTROY"
The remaining humans rebuilt the fallen kingdom, using the Soul Heart as they were once instructed by Levvenos. However, without guidance from Levvenos, they were left to their own devices. This is all that is recorded upon Levvenos' Tablet and the accompanying murals. That is the history of the Lost City.
