Characteristics[]
Babore is a two-limbed, boar-like Loomian with bronze fur, with darker shades on its legs, ears, and above its yellow-green eyes. There are two tufts of tan fur on its cheeks and four tufts on its snout. Its underside and back is of a lighter shade with two tufts protruding from the behind, and its ears are dropping.
Origin[]
Babore may be a portmanteau of either "babi" (Indonesian/Malay word for pig) or "baboy" (Filipino word for pig) and either ore or boar, referring to a type of stone and a wild pig respectively.
Description[]
The Loomipedia entry for Babore in each installment of Loomian Legacy is listed as follows:
In v0.4.10a, Babore's name, sprite, and model were all "deleted" from the game. Its sprite and model were turned into an orange question mark, while its name was changed to "DELETED". Babore was also unable to be encountered in the wild during this time and any Trainers with Babore would have that Loomian deleted from their party. This was in reference to a Llama Train Studio livestream[1] where Community Manager SerXia said she would delete Babore from the game. Lead Developer tbradm later mentioned in the livestream chat that he was deleting Babore.
The orange question mark is more appropriately used during testing as a placeholder for new Loomians that don't have a sprite and/or model in-game yet.
This would later turn out to be foreshadowing a Babore redesign which came in v0.4.10c, along with its evolution, Boarrok.
