Beginner Loomian

When players start their journey, they are first given a special Loomian known as a Beginner Loomian. There are seven Beginner Loomians, and these Loomian species along with their evolutions take up the first 21 entries of the Loomipedia. Each Beginner Loomian has its own strength that helps the player on their journey, and a strong bond can be formed as a result.

Mechanics

Each of the seven Beginner Loomians belongs to different types, including Fire, Water, Electric, Plant, Ice, Dark and Light. All Beginner Loomians are part of three-stage evolutionary lines, reaching their Evolved Forms starting at Level 18 and evolving once again to their Final Evolutions starting at Level 34. They all share the same regular Ability Awakening, which further increases the power of attacks belonging to the same type as them, known as "Attack Type Bonus". They also have the same category of tasks for each of their Mastery pages.

All seven of these Loomians cannot be found in the wild, but can be bought from Assistant Derrick for 25 Robux or rallied. After buying one Beginner Loomian, players can purchase 10 of the same Beginner Loomian at once for 250 Robux, or 100 of the same Beginner Loomian at once for 2,500 Robux. The Beginner Loomian that the player picks in Loomian Laboratory, Mitis Town before starting their adventure is prohibited from being traded away, but rallied and bought Beginner Loomians can be traded.

• The first seven types on the type list are in the same order as the Beginner Loomians' types are in the Loomipedia.
  • For example, Fire is the first type on the type list, and Embit is the first Beginner Loomian in the Loomipedia.
• All Beginner Loomians have a Base Stat total of 361, 472 and 610 in their respective forms.
  • They also share the same base Energy stat of 51, 67 and 88 in their respective forms.
• The player's first Beginner Loomian is the only Loomian that is labeled as "A gift from Mom". The message will not appear for any other rallied or bought Beginner Loomians.
• Data released by developer tbradm on May 14, 2021 shows how many players picked each Beginner Loomian to that point. The order of most picked to least picked is as follows: Fevine, Eaglit, Vambat, Weevolt, Snocub, Embit, Dripple.
• Beginner Loomians are the only Loomians that may be purchased with Robux, available at the Loomian Laboratory or in the Store app of the LoomiWatch.
