Biology

Characteristics

Boonary's body looks like it is made from polygons assembled in a wireframe, giving it a digital look. Its shape is reminiscent of a hat; its eyes are "0"s, as well as the accompanying mouth being a "1". This is a reference to the binary system, where binary characters are represented by only two digits, 0 and 1. It also has small ears and two whiskers.

Origin

Boonary may be a portmanteau of the words "boolean", a binary data type, or "boo", a stereotypical onomatopoeia made by ghosts referring to its typing, and "binary", referring to its nature as an animated computer program.

• As stated by Llama Train Studio developer JamiyJamie, the Alpha Gleaming Form is a reference to the game Pac-Man.
• Boonary, Kanki and Kanibo are currently the only Loomians who cannot learn Dodge via Move Manual.
• All of Boonary's base stats are 64, likely referencing 64-bit computing.
• If Boonary emulates the Heavy Bag, the only move it will have is Strike.
  • Due to Boonary also emulating the Heavy Bag's Ability making it unable to use moves, it also can't use this move.
• Boonary is currently the only Loomian that cannot learn a move by any method other than leveling up.
  • Boonary and the Scorb evolutionary line are the only Loomians unable to learn any moves via Rallying.
  • It is also the only Loomian that knows all of its possible moves from the start.
• Boonary is tied with Wispur for being the lightest Loomian in the game, both weighing just 1 pound.
• When Boonary emulates a Corrupt or Gleaming Loomian, it will turn into the Corrupt or Gleaming Loomian, keeping the color scheme.
