Corrupt Loomian

Corrupt Loomians are extremely rare special variants of Loomians that can either be encountered in the wild or appear in certain set encounters. These Loomians cannot be captured.

Mechanics

Corrupt encounter music

In areas that Wild Loomians are encountered, the chances of a Wild Loomian being Corrupt is 1/1024 (0.1%). When encountering a Corrupt Loomian, special music will play. There is no limit to the amount of corrupted Loomians a player can encounter. Some Roaming Loomians have Set Encounters as Corrupt Loomians in certain locations. Battling these Loomians will purify and release them into the wild, in which they can be found anywhere in Roria.

When defeated, Corrupt Loomians will drop one of seven Shards. However, Corrupt Loomians in Set Encounters will not drop a Shard when defeated.

Chance Boosting

Roaming Charm and LoomiBoost

The Roaming & Corrupt ×4 LoomiBoost quadruples the encounter rate for Corrupt and Roaming Loomians. It lasts for 15 minutes per Boost Token, this LoomiBoost brings the encounter rate for these Loomians from 1/1024 (0.1%) to 1/256 (0.4%).

The game pass Roaming Charm grants the Roaming Charm item that doubles the encounter rate for Corrupt and Roaming Loomians to 1/512 (0.2%). The pass costs 450 Robux, being the most expensive out of all game passes for Loomian Legacy, but its effect is permanent. These two boosts can stack with each other, bringing the maximum encounter rate to 1/128 (0.8%).

Trivia

• For 2021, 2022, 2023 and 2024 April Fools' Day, Corrupt Loomians had wisps around them, making them look like Gamma Gleaming Corrupt Loomians.
• All Corrupted Loomians have +1 in every stat.
  • In addition, all Corrupted Loomians provide triple the Experience when knocked out compared to normal members of their species.
• Corrupt Samarine is currently the only corrupted Loomian to have its stats modified outside of the corrupted buff.
  • The Samarine has a flat 500 HP, 150 TPs in both of its Attack stats and 100 TPs in both of its Defense stats.
