Characteristics[]
Dakuda is a tall, dark blue bipedal Loomian with two sets of limbs. It has a jagged, dark blue head with lighter and darker accents on the lower and upper portions of its face, respectively, which follow a similar pattern along the rest of its body. Dakuda's eyes are red with blue pupils, and it has a row of sharp teeth along its jaw. Around Dakuda's neck is a large, grey piece resembling an outer plating that extends all the way to its tail, which is lined with teal marks on the exterior with dark blue and teal accents on the inside facing its head. On the backside of this grey portion are fins resembling that of a shark's dorsal fin, with small teal markings lining the sides; a similar marking is also present in the two fins at the tip of Dakuda's tail. It has two dark blue arms, each with teal marks on the shoulder and hand. Dakuda's hands separate into a lighter and darker portion, each having a fin on either side with teal along the outer edge. These hands have two silver claws at the end. Additionally, Dakuda has two significantly smaller legs which become lighter shades of blue on the sides closest to its torso. Dakuda's feet have three claws: two at the front and one at the back.
Origin[]
Dakuda seems to be inspired by the Fijian mythological god Dakuwaqa, an anthropomorphic shark deity known to protect the Fiji islands. Dakuda's name may be derived from Dakuwaqa and barracuda, a predatory saltwater fish.
