Dr. Haloine's Nightmare was an alternate realm that was accessed by going in a portal created by Dr. Haloine in a lab to the right of the Sepharite Battle Theatre in Sepharite City during the 2020 Halloween Event. To enter this lab, players need to acquire the POLUT Silver Keycard. Since the 2020 Halloween Event has ended, this area is no longer accessible.
Notable Events[]
Entering the Portal[]
Once inside Dr. Haloine's lab, players may speak to several scientists. They will explain that the lab is a division of POLUT Corp. tasked with researching paranormal activities. Dr. Haloine then explains that he has been experiencing recurring nightmares and has created a machine capable of sending the player to the realm where the nightmares occur. Once the player steps inside the machine, they will be teleported to the event map. Since the end of the 2020 Halloween Event, the portal has become permanently deactivated.
Catching Metronette[]
In the event map, there is a single path leading to an old, haunted house. When the player knocks on the door, an anonymous voice greets them and introduces itself as the entity causing Dr. Haloine's nightmares. It then asks for 25 Spooky Treats in return for stopping the nightmares. Once the player returns with the treats, it will ask for more until the player eventually refuses. Infuriated, the voice reveals itself to be Metronette and a battle begins. After the battle, the player will be shown the stats page of the caught Metronette if applicable and can choose whether to save or discard the results of the battle. The latter option returns all of the player's Loomians to their original state and all of the items used during the battle, thus giving the player another chance to catch Metronette again, until they are satisfied with the results.
Return[]
When the player returns to the lab having defeated Metronette, Dr. Haloine thanks them and states that the portal will remain open for a period of time. The player is now free to travel to the event map and Dr. Haloine acts as a shopkeeper to sell limited items in exchange for Spooky Treats.
Description[]
The portal in Sepharite City warps the player to an area with the only path extending forward towards a haunted mansion. A path going left of the mansion leads to a pumpkin patch where jack-o'-lantern spawn with Spooky Treats and Loomians can be encountered.

Trivia[]
- The name "Haloine" is likely a play on the word "Halloween", which is the theme of this location.
- Dr. Haloine's Nightmare was the first event-exclusive location in the game.
- Dr. Haloine's Nightmare was also the only event-exclusive location that was not accessed via the RTD.
- YouTuber LuckyHD was teleported to this area and encountered a Metronette on March 17th, 2021, seemingly as part of a troll by the developers. During that time the portal was deleted, the dancing Halloween Kabunga were missing, he couldn't encounter anything and knocking on the door flung him back to the beginning of the area. He could, however, Geo Hop out, something not possible in the original event.
