Biology

Characteristics

Eaglit is a quadrupedal Loomian with the appearance of a griffin. It has white feathers with golden markings on its hind legs. It has large purple eyes, a small yellow beak, and sharp gray claws. Eaglit also has three distinctive golden lines on its forehead. Eaglit is a brave Loomian that is always ready to defend its nest. When threatened, Eaglit will attack by blinding the intruder with a flash of light and then attack with its razor claws.

Origin

Eaglit is based on a griffin, a mythical creature from Greek and Egyptian mythology, possessing an eagle's head and wings, as well as the body of a lion. The name Eaglit is a portmanteau of eagle and light or the past tense "lit", which are associated with Eaglit's species and type. Its name might also include "glitter", as another reference to Eaglit's Light typing. Eaglit could also be a play on the word eaglet, referring to a baby eagle.
