Characteristics[]
Each form of Gargolem is based on a different type of gargoyle. Its Base form depicts a standard gargoyle, its Attack form depicts a chimera/wyvern gargoyle, its Defense form depicts a pig gargoyle, and its Speed form depicts an owl gargoyle.[1]
Origin[]
Gargolem is a portmanteau of the words "gargoyle" and "golem", referencing its appearance and Earth typing.
Description[]
The Loomipedia entry for Gargolem in each installment of Loomian Legacy is listed as follows:
Gargolem have the ability to camouflage themselves, appearing as if made of stone. They have been known to pose as statues, waiting for the right moment to strike at those who mistake them as such.

Trivia[]
Gargolem's set encounter was resettable, thus giving the player another chance to catch Gargolem. All items that were used during the battle would be restored when doing so.
Gargolem is able to learn 19 rally moves, the most out of any Loomian.
Gargolem's Attack form has both the highest base Melee Attack and Ranged Attack stats out of any Loomian and the lowest base Melee Defense (tied with Gastroak) and Ranged Defense stat out of any fully evolved Loomian, having 165 and 40 in each of the stats respectively.
Its Defense form has the highest base Melee Defense and Ranged Defense stat out of any Loomian at 165 in both stats.
Its Speed form has the highest base Speed stat out of any Loomian at 165.
Gargolem is the second Loomian to be able to change between forms through the use of specific items, namely the Magic Chisel, the first being Cosmiore.
However, this does not apply for its Holiday reskin, as each of Gargolem's forms were only obtainable via wild encounter.
Upon the release of the Holiday reskins for each of Gargolem's forms, they all shared a similar base stat spread to the Base form, despite having differing base stat spreads normally. They would also appear as a regular Gargolem in its Base form. This was later fixed in an update and the glitched Gargolems were changed to their intended Holiday forms, however they kept their default sprites instead of the respective Holiday one.[2]
