Jolly Village is a winter exclusive holiday-themed village and was the main hub of the 2020, 2021, and 2022 Holiday Events. It has a Halloween-themed counterpart, known as Haunted Village.
Notable Events[]
Holiday 2020[]
Unlocking The Gate[]
A small path leads out of the main village to a metal gate. If the player interacts with the gate, a message will tell them that a key is required. The Gate Key can be obtained by playing the Great Gift Exchange minigame, located within the village and by Mr. Jolly, an NPC wearing an outfit resembling Santa's.
Catching Wabalisc[]
After obtaining the key, the player unlocks a path leading to a cave. Upon entering and trekking further into the cave, the player will find Wabalisc at the end of the shaft. If the player chooses to interact with the Loomian, the battle begins. After the battle, the player will be shown the stats page of the caught Wabalisc, if applicable and can choose whether to save or discard the results of the battle. The latter option returns all of the player's Loomians to their original state and all of the items used during the battle, giving the player a second chance to catch Wabalisc again, until the player is satisfied with the results.
Holiday 2021[]
Calling The Boat[]
After obtaining the Jolly Mallet, the player can ring the bell in the center of the village. This summons a boat from under the icy water which the player can use to ride into a cave. The Jolly Mallet can be obtained by playing the Great Gift Exchange minigame, located within the village and by Mr. Jolly, an NPC wearing an outfit resembling Santa's.
Catching Akhalos[]
Upon entering the cave, Wabalisc and Arapaigo can be seen frozen, but cannot be interacted with. The player will find Akhalos upon trekking further into the cave. If the player chooses to interact with the Loomian, the battle begins. After the battle, the player will be shown the stats page of the caught Akhalos, if applicable and can choose whether to save or discard the results of the battle. The latter option returns all of the player's Loomians to their original state and all of the items used during the battle, giving the player a second chance to catch Akhalos again, until the player is satisfied with the results.
Holiday 2022[]
Decorating The Tree[]
Upon entering Jolly Village, a boy greets the player and introduces himself as Mr. Jolly's helper. He tells the player that Mr. Jolly tasked him to decorate the tree in the center of town, but he hasn't been able to find inspiration. First, he asks the player to show him a Loomian covered in decorative lights. If Festifir is at the front of the player's party, the helper will thank the player and the tree will become decorated in lights. Then, he will ask the player to show him five different kinds of Loomians that could be inspiration for ornaments. The player must fill their party with five different variations of Scorb's Ornament Form. After talking to the helper again, the tree will become decorated with several ornaments resembling the five Scorb the player showed the helper. Finally, the player has to recover the Jolly Star, which has been misplaced by the helper and has found its way into a gift in the Great Gift Exchange. The player has to win it back by playing the minigame. After obtaining the star and talking to the helper, it is placed at the top of the tree. Then, the helper thanks the player and tells them to enjoy their time at Jolly Village.
Catching Celesting[]
Right after the helper leaves, a star in the sky fires a beam of light at the tree's golden star. This refracts the beam downwards towards the Jolly Bell, and Celesting appears. If the player chooses to interact with the Loomian, the battle begins. After the battle, the player will be shown the stats page of the caught Celesting, if applicable and can choose whether to save or discard the results of the battle. The latter option returns all of the player's Loomians to their original state and all of the items used during the battle, giving the player another chance to catch Celesting again, until the player is satisfied with the results.
Minigame[]
Great Gift Exchange[]
A portal in the central area of the village allows players to teleport to the Great Gift Exchange minigame. A single minigame can be played with up to 8 players, with the remaining spots being replaced by NPCs found all over Roria. This minigame consists of eight gifts, each gift containing, from lowest to highest value, a piece of Coal, 2–12 Jolly Cookies, and a Gate Key (Holiday 2020 Event), a Jolly Mallet (Holiday 2021 Event), a Jolly Star (Holiday 2022 Event). During some minigames, a randomly selected gift's prize will be replaced with the Waba Disc. Jolly Cookies can be traded for items in Mr. Jolly's Cookie Exchange as well as Milo's Market. The Gate Key unlocked the mineshaft where Wabalisc is first encountered, the Jolly Mallet unlocked a boat that would take you into the cave where Akhalos is encountered, and the Jolly Star is used to complete Mr. Jolly's helper's quest and encounter Celesting. If the player gets the Gate Key, Jolly Mallet or Jolly Star in the minigame after already obtaining one, he or she will be rewarded with 15 Jolly Cookies instead. However, added with the 2022 Holiday Event, if the player has already obtained the Jolly Star, its gift will be replaced with a Boost Token that can be obtained once a day. The objective of the game is to end up with the gift with the highest value.
The players sit in a circle, each player starting with a gift. Before the round starts, the players are given an opportunity to peek at any other gift that is not currently in their possession. The players have three tries to steal their desired gift or protect his or her own gift before the game ends and the items are distributed, and a hint is given before each try about the contents of certain gifts. Players can choose their stealing level in each round, ranging from 1–3, and select a present to steal (or protect if it is their current present). Once a certain stealing level is used, it cannot be used again in subsequent rounds. If two or more people choose the same present, then the person with the highest stealing level gets the present. If the highest stealing level is achieved by multiple people, then the original recipient keeps the present.

Trivia[]
- The OST used in Jolly Village is the same OST as that of Frostveil City in the prequel to Veils of Shadow, Pokémon Brick Bronze.
- There are multiple easter eggs and references to other media in and around Jolly Village:
- In the house where the Great Gift Exchange takes place, there is a llama in a toy train driving around a Festifir acting as a Christmas tree. This references Llama Train Studio, the team behind the Loomian Legacy franchise.
- As the Gift Exchange begins, the camera zooms in on a glass of cookies and milk. This references how children often leave cookies and milk outside for Santa Claus to eat as he delivers presents to them.
- In the mineshaft where Wabalisc is encountered, there are mining tools that have a similar color and appearance to those from Minecraft.
- A snowman in the village wears the same hat and scarf that Tess wears from Pokémon Brick Bronze, the prequel to Loomian Legacy.
- There is a red dreidel behind a house, a reference to YouTuber Armenti, because he is Jewish, and he likes the color red[1].
- Jolly Village and Haunted Village are the only event locations to house a Loomian Goods store.
- Even if the player had not obtained a Boost Token in the gift exchange in 2022, the hints will still refer to it as a "Star."
