Jolly Village is an event-exclusive holiday village that served as the main hub of the 2020, 2021, 2022, and 2024 Holiday Events. In the 2024 Holiday Event, Jolly Village received an overhaul. It has a Halloween-themed counterpart, known as Haunted Village.
Notable Events[]
Holiday 2020[]
Unlocking The Gate[]
A small path leads out of the main village to a metal gate. If the player interacts with the gate, a message will tell them that a key is required. The Gate Key can be obtained by playing the Great Gift Exchange minigame, located within the village and by Mr. Jolly, an NPC wearing an outfit resembling Santa's.
Catching Wabalisc[]
After obtaining the key, the player unlocks a path leading to a cave. Upon entering and trekking further into the cave, the player will find Wabalisc at the end of the shaft. If the player chooses to interact with the Loomian, the battle begins. After the battle, the player will be shown the stats page of the caught Wabalisc, if applicable, and can choose whether to save or discard the results of the battle. The latter option returns all of the player's Loomians to their original state and all of the items used during the battle, giving the player a second chance to catch Wabalisc again, until they are satisfied with the results.
Holiday 2021[]
The Jolly Ferry
Calling The Boat[]
After obtaining the Jolly Mallet, the player can ring the bell in the center of the village. This summons a boat from under the icy water which the player can use to ride into a cave. The Jolly Mallet can be obtained by playing the Great Gift Exchange minigame, located within the village and by Mr. Jolly, an NPC wearing an outfit resembling Santa's.
Catching Akhalos[]
Upon entering the cave, Wabalisc and Arapaigo can be seen frozen, but cannot be interacted with. The player will find Akhalos upon trekking further into the cave. If the player chooses to interact with the Loomian, the battle begins. After the battle, the player will be shown the stats page of the caught Akhalos, if applicable, and can choose whether to save or discard the results of the battle. The latter option returns all of the player's Loomians to their original state and all of the items used during the battle, giving the player a second chance to catch Akhalos again, until they are satisfied with the results.
Holiday 2022[]
Decorating The Tree[]
Upon entering Jolly Village, a boy greets the player and introduces himself as Mr. Jolly's helper. He tells the player that Mr. Jolly tasked him to decorate the tree in the center of town, but he hasn't been able to find inspiration. First, he asks the player to show him a Loomian covered in decorative lights. If Festifir is at the front of the player's party, the helper will thank the player and the tree will become decorated in lights. Then, he will ask the player to show him five different kinds of Loomians that could be inspiration for ornaments. The player must fill their party with five different variations of Scorb's Ornament Form. After talking to the helper again, the tree will become decorated with several ornaments resembling the five Scorb the player showed the helper. Finally, the player has to recover the Jolly Star, which has been misplaced by the helper and has found its way into a gift in the Great Gift Exchange. The player has to win it back by playing the minigame. After obtaining the star and talking to the helper, it is placed at the top of the tree. Then, the helper thanks the player and tells them to enjoy their time at Jolly Village.
Catching Celesting[]
Beam of light hitting the Jolly Star
Right after the helper leaves, a star in the sky fires a beam of light at the tree's golden star. This refracts the beam downwards towards the Jolly Bell, and Celesting appears. If the player chooses to interact with the Loomian, a battle begins. After the battle, the player will be shown the stats page of the caught Celesting, if applicable, and can choose whether to save or discard the results of the battle. The latter option returns all of the player's Loomians to their original state and all of the items used during the battle, giving the player another chance to catch Celesting again, until they are satisfied with the results.
Holiday 2024[]
Mr. Jolly's Request[]
Upon entering Jolly Village, the player is greeted by Mr. Jolly who explains that he planned to host a dinner at his house, but lost his key in the Frozen Forest Maze when he encountered a terrifying creature. Now that he and his wife, Mrs. Jolly, are locked out of their home, he tasks the player with heading into the maze and finding the key. Upon reaching the end of the maze and obtaining the key, the players must head to the back of the Winter Woods to Mr. and Mrs. Jolly's house and unlock the gate. Mrs. Jolly will be waiting at the gate, and explains that she canceled the plans with the guests, but expresses thankfulness to the player for finding the key. She invites the player to their house and asks them to bring a few guests for dinner.
Catching Grimyuline[]
Grimyuline posing as a Christmas tree in the player's room.
After entering the house, a cutscene will play where the player, as well as Mabel, Lucy, Lucas, and Jake, join Mr. and Mrs. Jolly for dinner. The friends leave, but the player stays back to explain to the Jollys about their adventures in the maze. Mrs. Jolly invites the player to spend the night in a spare bedroom of the home. The player has some self reflection before heading to sleep, but wakes up to Grimyuline posing as the Christmas tree in the room. If the player chooses to interact with the Loomian, a battle begins. After the battle, the player will be shown the stats page of the caught Grimyuline, if applicable, and can choose whether to save or discard the results of the battle. The latter option returns all of the player's Loomians to their original state and all of the items used during the battle, giving the player another chance to catch Grimyuline again, until they are satisfied with the results.
Raid Battles[]
- Main article: Raid Battle

A Chilling Surprise[]
Players can participate in the A Chilling Surprise Raid Battle, featuring the Soul Burst form of Icigool, Incarnate Icigool, via a portal where the Merrybell used to be. Players can either team up with another player in the same server or enter in solo and team up with either Lucas, Lucy or Jake. The raid has two difficulties, being Normal and Nightmare. Nightmare is unlocked after defeating the Normal difficulty. Defeating the Normal difficulty gives an Iciburst, a Holiday-themed Disc from past Events, and 20 Peppermints, with a 10% chance to give the Incarnate Icigool Profile Frame. Defeating the Nightmare difficulty gives an Icigool Saddle I, two Holiday-themed Discs, and 30 Peppermints, with a 25% chance to give the Incarnate Icigool Frame.
Seeing Stars[]
Players can participate in the Seeing Stars Raid Battle, featuring the Soul Burst form of Celesting, Stellarchime Celesting, in a similar fashion to the A Chilling Surprise Raid Battle. The raid has two difficulties, being Normal and Nightmare. Nightmare is unlocked after defeating the Normal difficulty. Defeating the Normal difficulty gives a Celeburst, a Holiday-themed Disc from past Events, and 20 Peppermints, with a 10% chance of giving the Stellarchime Celesting Profile Background. Defeating the Nightmare difficulty gives a Celesting Saddle S, two Holiday-themed Discs, and 30 Peppermints, with a 25% chance to give the Stellarchime Celesting Background.
Minigames[]
Great Gift Exchange[]
The Exchange
Prior to its revamp for the 2024 Holiday Event, Jolly Village featured a minigame called the Great Gift Exchange. A portal in the central area of the village allowed players to teleport to the Great Gift Exchange minigame. A single minigame could be played with up to 8 players, with the remaining spots being replaced by NPCs found all over Roria. This minigame consisted of eight gifts, each gift containing, from lowest to highest value, a piece of Coal, 2–12 Jolly Cookies, and a Gate Key (Holiday 2020 Event), a Jolly Mallet (Holiday 2021 Event), or a Jolly Star (Holiday 2022 Event). During some minigames, a randomly selected gift's prize would be replaced with the Waba Disc. Jolly Cookies could be traded for items in Mr. Jolly's Cookie Exchange as well as Milo's Market. The Gate Key unlocked the mineshaft where Wabalisc is first encountered, the Jolly Mallet unlocked a boat that would take you into the cave where Akhalos was encountered, and the Jolly Star was used to complete Mr. Jolly's helper's quest and encounter Celesting. If the player received the Gate Key, Jolly Mallet or Jolly Star in the minigame after already obtaining one, they would be rewarded with 15 Jolly Cookies instead. However, added with the 2022 Holiday Event, if the player had already obtained the Jolly Star, its gift would be replaced with a Boost Token that could've been obtained once a day. The objective of the game was to end up with the gift with the highest value.
The players sat in a circle, each player starting with a gift. Before the round started, the players were given an opportunity to peek at any other gift that was not currently in their possession. The players have three tries to steal their desired gift or protect their own gift before the game ends and the items were distributed, and a hint was given before each try about the contents of certain gifts. Players could choose their stealing level in each round, ranging from 1–3, and selected a present to steal (or protect if it is their current present). Once a certain stealing level is used, it could not be used again in subsequent rounds. If two or more people chose the same present, then the person with the highest stealing level got the present. If the highest stealing level is achieved by multiple people, then the original recipient kept the present.
Below is a table of the possible hints:
Frozen Forest Maze[]
Replacing the Great Gift Exchange minigame for the 2024 Holiday Event, the Frozen Forest Maze is a maze that takes place in the Frozen Forest. It mirrors the Evergreen Maze minigame from Jolly Festival. Six players can participate in the maze per round. Every round, the maze's walls and starting point are randomized. Players are given six minutes to reach the finish. Upon first completion, the player is rewarded with the Jolly Key. Finishing the maze after already obtaining the Jolly Key will reward 40 Peppermint. Peppermint is also scattered throughout the maze, as are workshops that contain item boxes that hold special Discs or 5 Peppermint inside.
As warned by Mr. Jolly when first arriving in Jolly Village, the maze is inhabited by a frightening creature, Grimyuline, that roams around the maze and will chase after players if they are spotted. While players are being chased, their FOV is widened. The workshops found throughout the maze can act as a safe zone for players who are being chased by Grimyuline. If players are caught by Grimyuline, a cutscene will trigger in which they are attacked and sent back to the village. Bear traps left by Lumberjack Ursoul can also be found scattered on the floor of the maze, and touching one triggers a cutscene where Ursoul attacks the player, sending them back to the village.
The vault inside of Mr. and Mrs. Jolly's House.
Added in the 2024 Holiday Event Part 2 update, masks of Loomians can be found on the ground inside the maze along with two random digits that are different for each player. These can be inputted into the vault inside of Mr. and Mrs. Jolly's house. Players can do this a maximum of four times, with each time giving a different reward. The rewards are, in order, a Grimyuline Profile Frame for the player's Profile Card, a Celesting Frame, ten Boost Tokens, and a Celebration Disc G.
Crafting[]

until next available Boost Token.
Also scattered throughout the maze are certain building materials, which can be stored in workshops found throughout the maze. Currently, they are only used to craft Boost Tokens, which can be done once a day.

Trivia[]
The snowman dressed like Tess
The Diamond Pickaxe in the mineshaft
- The OST used in Jolly Village is the same OST as that of Frostveil City in the prequel to Veils of Shadow, Pokémon Brick Bronze.
- Prior to its revamp, there were multiple easter eggs and references to other media in and around Jolly Village:
- In the house where the Great Gift Exchange takes place, there was a llama in a toy train driving around a Festifir acting as a Christmas tree. This references Llama Train Studio, the team behind the Loomian Legacy franchise.
- As the Gift Exchange began, the camera zooms in on a glass of cookies and milk. This references how children often leave cookies and milk outside for Santa Claus to eat as he delivers presents to them.
- In the mineshaft where Wabalisc was encountered, there are mining tools that have a similar color and appearance to those from Minecraft.
- A snowman in the village wore the same hat and scarf that Tess wears from Pokémon Brick Bronze, the prequel to Loomian Legacy.
- There is a red dreidel behind a house, a reference to YouTuber Armenti, because he is Jewish, and he likes the color red[1].
- Since the revamp, the dreidel has moved to be in front of a house, albeit in a similar location.
- Jolly Village and Haunted Village are the only event locations to house a Loomian Goods store.
- Even if the player had not obtained a Boost Token in the gift exchange in 2022, the hints will still refer to it as a "Star."
