When editing on the Loomian Legacy Wiki, you should follow these guidelines in order to improve the quality of your contributions and help keep the wiki consistent. Failure to follow these guidelines is not a punishable offense, but if you consistently break these guidelines, then staff may speak to you about the issue.
Article Text
- Avoid repetitive vocabulary and sentence lengths in paragraphs to improve the flow of the text and make it easier to read.
- Use a third-person perspective. Do not use words like "you", "your", "me", "I" and other first or second-person words. When referring to something done in the game, use "the player" or "they".
- Use American English spelling (defense not defence, color not colour).
- Measurements should be done primarily using Metric units with Imperial units in parenthesis. Both units should be present to make it easier for all readers to understand.
- In-game descriptions and dialogue transcripts are the exception to this rule and should stay unmodified.
Wikitext and Styling
- The first mention of the title of the article should be in bold. In the source editor, this done with the following wikitext:

Trivia
- Trivia must always pertain to the subject of the article.
- Trivia should only contain trivial yet interesting facts.
- Trivia facts should not be useless, such as "The city has music," but should instead be interesting, such as "The music from the city is from another game."
- Trivia facts should not be copied word-for-word from another website.
- Images are permitted in the trivia section if they better illustrate a trivia fact, but should be used infrequently.
- Trivia should only contain canon facts, or facts that have been stated in Loomian Legacy.
- Trivia should not be made-up or fake.
