Personality is a trait in each Loomian that slightly affects its stats, increasing or decreasing 10% or 20% of its stats.

Each individual Loomian has a personality combination that cannot be changed. A Loomian will commonly have a pair of helpful and hindering personality or an indifferent personality that affects no stats. Rarely, it may only have a single helpful or hindering personality.
Personality Types[]
All stats except Health have a helpful and hindering personality trait each. A helpful personality raises the value of its corresponding stat by 10% and is denoted with green on the Loomian Overview screen, while a hindering personality reduces the value of its respective stat by 10% and is marked as yellow.
When rallying with Totems, Loomians can have strong personalities that affect a stat by 20%. The Smiling Totem allows rallying Loomians with two helpful personalities and one strong hindering personality, marked as red in the Overview. The Scowling Totem allows rallying Loomians with two hindering personalities and one strong helpful personality, marked as blue.
Influencing Personalities[]
Though a Loomian's personality cannot change after being caught, there are certain measures players can take to acquire Loomians with a desired personality. If a Loomian possessing the Ability Harmonize is leading the party, wild Loomians will be guaranteed to possess the exact same personality as the possessor.
Rally items can be used to specify the personalities of rallied Loomians. The table below lists all items that can be used to specify personalities.
