“Aww, I wanna see leaks of the new Loomians they're working on!” – Lucy, POLUT Campus
Lucy is a young trainer first seen at Cheshma Town. She is currently traveling through Roria with her twin brother Lucas, her best friend Mabel, Jake, and the player. After touring POLUT Campus with the player, she embarks on a quest to aid the player in finding all the dark stone tablet chunks.
At some point in their lives, Lucy and Lucas became best friends with a girl named Mabel. When Mabel was sent off to a school at Cheshma Town, they accompanied her.
The player first meets them when they were kicked out of the Trainer School at Cheshma Town. Mabel explains her perspective on Loomian battles, while Lucy and Lucas nod along and agrees with everything she says.
Later on, the player encounters Lucy along with Mabel and Lucas on Route 4 questioning what to do about the veil of darkness blocking the path. The player uses the app Stunning Flash on their LoomiWatch to open up the path ahead, which causes Mabel to become angry, saying that the flash irritated her eyes. She then orders Lucas and Lucy to battle the player. After the player defeats both of them, Mabel along with Lucas and Lucy leave for Sepharite City.
In Sepharite City, the player encounters them again, about to take a tour of POLUT Corp. Lucas invites them along, but Mabel only agrees after another battle. When the player wins, they take the tour. During their visit they meet Jake and decide to come along the player's journey across Roria.
Lucy meets the player on Route 8. A man walks up to the group with a Loomian following him, explaining that he needs a trainer to take the Loomian. Lucy volunteers, but when the Loomian leaps towards Mabel, Lucy instead encourages her to take the Loomian. Mabel agrees, naming it Starla.
Appearance[]
Lucy has light blonde hair, always tied up in two pigtails, and green eyes. She wears a sleeveless grey hoodie with Mabel's logo on one side, along with black and orange shorts, plus grey shoes and orange socks. There is also a bandage on her nose.
Personality[]
Lucy is more of a bystander; she always follows Mabel's lead without thinking for herself so is also slightly more aggressive than her brother, Lucas. However, Lucy also has a softer side; she loves cute Loomians, as she mentions during the POLUT Corp. tour.
Relationships[]
Lucas[]
Lucy and Lucas seem to maintain a good relationship with each other. However, sometimes Lucy will tease Lucas, saying he only likes Loomians and food or that he cannot do anything without her.
Mabel[]
Although often acting cold towards them, Mabel later admits that Lucy and Lucas are her best friends in the world. Lucy and Lucas also show immense loyalty towards Mabel, following her around Roria and always standing up for her.
The Player[]
Under Mabel's command, the two regularly battle the player. In Sepharite City, Lucas approaches the player to apologize for their actions. After touring POLUT Campus together, everyone leaves on good terms.
Dialogue[]
Route 2
If talked to before defeating Corrupt Duskit
“We're getting close to Cheshma Town. We're almost to the Loomian Trainer school.”
Cheshma Town
“Yeah, we don't have time for this lame school. We only came because Mabel's mom made her.”
“Yeah, just gotta keep hitting back -- WHAM BAM POW!”
Route 4
Before Battle
“Yeah, what's the big deal? Watch where you point that thing!”
“Hey Mabel, it's that kid that we met outside the school at Cheshma.”
“Nope, we sure didn't!”
“You bet, Mabel!” (Turns to Player.)
“You don't look like much, so I don't expect your Loomians are very strong.”
After Defeating Lucy
“Grr, a loss is not acceptable.”
“I'm sorry, Mabel. It must have been my Loomians.”
“We'll do better next time, Mabel.”
“You bet.” (Leaves with Mabel and Lucas)
Sepharite City
Before Battle
“Power Bagels?!”
“We said we wanted sushi!”
“Apparently she goes there the same time every week to make sure her gear always has the latest updates.”
“I'm up for it.”
“I could use some more practice.”
“Alright, here I come.”
After Battle
“Aw, not again.”
“Sorry Mabel, I tried my hardest.”
POLUT Campus
Campus
“I want to see how they make those cute little Loomians!” (Turns towards Mabel)
“I know that, but I still think they're cute.”
“But Mabel, you dont have any--”
“Yay, finally!”
“Cute Loomians, here we come!”
Reception Area
“Do we get to play with the cute little Loomians you guys make here?”
“Aww, okay.”
Think Tank
“Aww, I wanna see the leaks of the new Loomians they're working on!”
“Oh, brother...” (Turns towards Mabel)
Production Area
“Yeah, I remember something about Soul Crystals when we were there.”
Cafeteria
“Is that food I smell?”
“Lucas, you only think about food and Loomians.”
Inside the Cafeteria
“That's so scary.”
“Who is behind all of this?”
“Mabel, you've been acting kinda funny today.”
“Are you feeling okay?”
“Yeah, way too dangerous...”
“Count me in, too.”
“Lucas can't do anything without my help.”
“Yeah, whatever.”
“What about you, Mabel?”
“What do you think?”
“Oh yeah, sorry Mabel.”
“Well... Mabel isn't--”
“Mabel, I haven't seen you this determined in a long time.”
“This has got me so excited now!”
“Hey, since we're like a team now, should we add each other on our LoomiWatches so we can call each other when something happens?”
After the Tour
“Wait... you're...”
“You're Sepharite City's Battle Star!”
“I watched a special on TV about you.”
“You survived an accident, and POLUT Corp. saved your life and gave you all kinds of cyber enhancements!”
“Oh, brother...”
“Aaaaad she's back to normal now.”
Route 8
At the pier
“Oh good, everyone is here now.”
“Sheesh, Mabel. Give him some space.”
“Wow, you guys really are crazy! There's no telling what could have happened to you...”
“You and your video games...”
“Oh, you're right! Lucas and I went there once when we were little.”
“We just need to follow Route 8 and pass through the gate to the beach. After that, it's just a short ride away. It's a really pretty place with some history.”
“Awww, it's so cute! I wouldn't mind taking care of it.”
“Oh, calm down, you big baby! It's just trying to sniff you. It seems to be interested in you.”
“We aren't like your mom. We'll support you to the end.”
“I'm not sure... I've never seen this Loomian species.”
“SHEESH, MABEL! Be serious.”
“Yeah, that has a nice ring to it.”
“Isn't there a resort on Route 8?”
“Well, it looks like all is in order. I think we should go ahead and make our way to the beach past Route 8.”
Lotusun Beach
Beach Gate
“Oh wow, the ocean looks so clear and sparkly!”
“Aww... alright, I guess...”
“Pretty crazy, right?”
“It's kinda weird for a Loomian to be as quiet as Starla is.”
“Yeah, Starla hasn't left your side since it joined us.”
At the Dock
“What are we supposed to do now?”
“Of course you are...”
Reuniting at the Dock
“Oh, hey guys!”
“What did we miss?”
In Submarine
“A long time ago, there was a project to build a massive city that hovered in the sky, high above the ocean.”
“They called it Anthian City.”
“The project was somewhat successful, as they managed to get the main foundation to hover for a couple years.”
“The engineers, builders, and their families lived up there at the time.”
“Nobody is sure what caused it, but one day the city suddenly began to fall out of the sky.”
“The citizens of Anthian City followed the planned emergency evacuation procedures.”
“All survived but one- Danny Stottel, the project's Chief of Design.”
“They say that he stayed behind, like a captain that goes down with his ship.”
“Don't worry, Mabel.”
“We're all in this together. Right, guys?”
Atlanthian City - Transit Hub
After arriving
“Yeah, we got to see so many Loomians on the way here!”
At the map
“See that dome in the center of the city? That's where we are now.”
“Oh! There's that museum that we talked about.”
“I'm Lucy.”
“Yup, that's us!”
“Well, what if we split up?”
“We could each go ask around the city, and see if anyone has noticed anything strange.”
“MABEL!”
“You guys are all just going to places you want to hang out... Ugh... that's fine, I guess. Just don't forget why we're here. Ask questions along the way. I'm going to meet my Aunt Luna and see if she knows anything. She's lived down here a while and would know if anything is out of the ordinary.”
“Could you guys at least pretend to care about why we came here?”
“Yeah... I guess so.”
Atlanthian Battle Theatre
Speaking to the Player over the LoomiWatch
“Hey there, [Player]! Lucy here. I wanted to let you know that I found my Aunt Luna. We are hanging out at Atlanthian Park now. It's in the Living District. You got the tickets for the Battle Theatre? Awesome! Gather everyone up and we'll take the museum tour. See you soon!”
Atlanthian Park
“Oh, [Player]. You made it!”
“Here you go, eat up.”
“Yes, this is [Player]. [Player], this is my Aunt Luna.”
“Yeah, Aunt Luna and I had a lot of catching up on. We took a walk through the park while I told her about some of our recent adventures.”
“We were just passing over the bridge when I spotted those cute little Loomians. I fed them some of my Loomian food because they looked hungry. They were so adorable, I couldn't help myself!”
“Aww, Aunt Luna. It was you who taught me care for Loomians. Remember the summer Lucas and I spent here with you? We found a cold, starving Fevine in an alley. You had just purchased some feed for your own Loomians, but you ended up feeding most of it to the stray Fevine.”
“Ever since then, I've always gone out of my way to help a Loomian in need. Taking care of Loomians is just part of who I am. One day I want to work as a Loomian Care physician.”
“But before I can do that, I need to help [Player] finish something. That's actually why I'm here, Aunt Luna. I wanted to ask you something.”
After pushing Stew and Neil into the nearby pond
“How could you treat an innocent, starving Loomian like that? It didn't do anything to you! Only a criminal would treat an innocent creature the way you two did.”
Before battling Stew and Neil
“Bring it on!”
“[Player], help me deal with these bullies.”
After the battle
“I hope you two were the ones who learned a lesson today. Loomians have feelings, too. You wouldn't kick your own friends if they asked you for food, would you?”
“Thank you so much for backing me up, [Player]! That was really cool of you.”
“I'm sorry, Aunt Luna. I couldn't just sit by and watch them treat that little Vari that way. They were going to keep hurting it unless someone stopped them.”
“Wait, really?”
“Thank you, Aunt Luna. It means a lot to me coming from you.”
“Oh, right! We actually came to Atlanthian City to look for something. Aunt Luna, have you noticed anything, uh, different in town?”
“Like, weird different. Loomians or people acting strange or unusually aggressive.”
“Oh, I see.”
“Well, let me explain...” (Proceeds to tell Aunt Luna about the corrupted stone tablet and its impacts on Loomians and people)
“Well, we don't know. The three pieces that we've found so far were near cities, and our journey has brought us to Atlanthian City.”
“Thanks, Aunt Luna. I can always count on you.”
“Huh? Oh, Vari! You poor little thing... Are you still scared after what those bullies did?”
“Here, I still have some food left.” (Gives the stray Vari some food)
“Aunt Luna, where do these Loomians come from, anyway? Do their trainers let them roam the city during the day or something?”
“Oh, that's so sad... I can't believe people would be so careless.”
“You poor little guy, no wonder why you're so hungry!”
“Oh, that's a wonderful idea. I wouldn't mind having this cute little Loomian on my team. What do you say to that, Vari? Would you like to come with me?”
“Well, that settles it! From today on, Vari and I are a team.”
“You know, I feel like I learned more about myself today. I'm going to do everything I can to help Loomians and other people.”
“Thank you so much for everything today, Aunt Luna. (Turns toward the Player) And you too, [Player]. I'm lucky to have you as a friend. Alright, I think it's time I go meet up with the others. ”
“I will, Aunt Luna. [Player], don't forget: we're meeting up at Atlanthian Museum after you've gathered everyone. Seeya then!”
