Mr. Ferrix's Mansion is the mansion located in Atlanthian City's Living District.

Dinner with Mr. Ferrix[]

The player and the rest of their group are greeted by Mr. Ferrix inside the mansion, who explains that the mansion is the oldest building in the city, and it was remodeled into a home by Roy Votto, the head architect of Atlanthian City. Then, Millia appears, and expresses her adoration for the player and how they battle. Baxley then brings the group to the dinner table where a meal is prepared for them. While the group is enjoying the food, Mabel comments on a painting hanging above the fireplace, and asks about a Makoro with a bandana that is featured in the painting alongside Mr. Ferrix and Millia. Millia explains that the Makoro is named "Torty" and was adopted when she found it injured on the beach. Recently, it had been unwell, and Mr. Ferrix had sent it away to a doctor. Ferrix compares this story to how the player's group helped his daughter, and says he still feels awful about how he treated them back in the diner. Then, Jake decides it's time to tell Mr. Ferrix about the corrupt Loomians, but he doesn't want Millia or Baxley to hear. As a result, Mr. Ferrix decides that everyone should just go to bed, and they'll discuss things in the morning. The player gets their own bedroom, while Lucas and Jake share a bedroom, and Mabel, Lucy, and Millia share a bedroom.
Finding and Rescuing Torty[]
After the player retires to their bedroom, they reflect on the events of the day. Once the monologue is over, the rest of the group, including Millia, knocks on the player's door and asks to come in after they are all not able to fall asleep. Following a double battle initiated by Millia, with the player teaming up with Jake to battle Lucas and Lucy, she talks about how she hasn't seen Torty in a while. Mr. Ferrix took Torty out for a swim one day, and when he came back, he told Millia that Torty got sick and was taken to the doctor. While Millia mentions to the group how she misses him, Torty's cries are heard. The group splits up to find out where the sound is coming from. They suspect it is coming from Mr. Ferrix's office, though Millia warns the player that she isn't allowed in there without him. However, the player tells Millia that it will be alright if the entire group enters with her, so they proceed through the door to the office. The group decides to split up in the room to look for where the cries may be coming from. There is a red button on Mr. Ferrix's desk that, when the player presses it, staircases appear from trapdoors on either side of the room. Up one of the staircases is a gold piece resembling a Mystic Wand on a shelf, which the player can take and give to the other Shawchi statue that isn't holding anything.
Upon doing so, the fireplace will open up to a secret room containing many artifacts Mr. Ferrix has collected and stored in display cases, as well as many works of art that resemble famous real-life paintings. The group also finds Torty inside a test chamber, similar to the one Protogon was inside of in POLUT Campus, corrupted by a piece of the Stone Tablet, which is also locked inside a display case in the room. Millia frantically runs toward Torty and starts telling him how much he has missed her. The group, noticing the piece of the corrupted tablet, believes that Mr. Ferrix has been secretly experimenting with it on Loomians, similarly to POLUT Corp. Millia releases Torty from its chamber, which then immediately attacks her. Mabel tells the player to stop Torty before it hurts anyone else, and after defeating him, Torty will lose his corruption and return to normal after Lucy heals him. Mr. Ferrix will then enter the room with Baxley and explain what caused Torty to become corrupted, as well as apologize to Millia for lying to her.
POLUT Corp. Guards Attack[]
After detailing Torty's corruption, Mr. Ferrix discloses his association with POLUT Corp., having conferred with Dr. Vanta regarding Torty's situation. Dr. Vanta extended an offer for his top scientists to examine Torty and a piece of the tablet he discovered, leading to their imminent arrival at the mansion for retrieval. Assigning Baxley the task of welcoming the POLUT Corp. members, Jake uses the opportunity to disclose to Mr. Ferrix the information about the cursed tablet fragments and the group's collective mission to secure the remaining pieces, as well as shed light on POLUT Corp.'s plan to weaponize Loomians using the pieces.
Just as Mr. Ferrix grasps the gravity of the situation, Meredin and a group of POLUT Guards and Scientists abruptly arrive with Baxley to reclaim Torty and the stone. Firmly rejecting their demands, Mr. Ferrix clashes with Meredin, only for Meredin to discover the player's presence and assume the group's interest in the stone. Despite Mr. Ferrix's insistence on their departure, tensions escalate, and Jake steps forward to stop them in their tracks. Jake teams up with the player, and, after beating both sets of guards and scientists, Meredin informs the group of Dr. Vanta's plan to obtain the Soul Heart from The Lost City. Mr. Ferrix promptly takes the group down to his private submarine dock while leaving Baxley to take care of things. After Mr. Ferrix confesses to the group his relationship with Dr. Vanta and that he revealed the location of The Lost City to him, he insists the group prepare themselves to confront Dr. Vanta. After allowing the player to use his equipment to either heal or change out their Loomians, the group boards his submarine to head below Atlanthian City to Aranatta Trench, where The Lost City is located.
Mr. Ferrix's Sidequest[]

After defeating Dr. Vanta in The Lost City, it is revealed that multiple Loomians across Roria have gained access to evolve beyond their previously understood potential. In addition, it is revealed that Moldecca, who has been circling Atlanthian City since before the player arrived, has begun to head towards land, specifically the Battle Colosseum. Mr. Ferrix invites the player to discuss something with him following the group's decision to head to Frostveil to search for the next piece of the corrupted tablet. He had noticed the player was given items by Dakuda before the group fled the crumbling Lost City. He asks the player if he could hold onto the items to study them. He also discusses the news story about powerful Loomians popping up around Roria and tasks the player to defeat them. Mr. Ferrix asks Baxley if he could team up with the player to battle these Loomians.
After defeating all five Soul Burst Loomians in Raid Battles, when the player returns to Mr. Ferrix, he notes that each Loomian defeated was in the possession of a Burst Crystal that was dropped upon defeating them, as well as an odd relic known as a Crysticulum. He tells the player about the research he conducted and says that the relics may be used to unlock something. He will then give back the items given to the player by Dakuda and thank them for everything they've done.
