POLUT Campus is the headquarters of POLUT Corp., the defining company of Sepharite City.
POLUT Corp.[]
POLUT Corp. is a Rorian company headquartered in Sepharite City that appears in Loomian Legacy - Veils of Shadow. It is run by Dr. Vanta and is the successor company of his previous project, Vantacorp. The acronym 'POLUT' stands for Partially Organic Loomian Utilities and Technologies, since the company specializes in biomechanical "cyber enhancements" such as robotic limbs and artificial Loomians brought to life with Soul Crystals. The presence of POLUT Corp. has reduced the cleanliness of Sepharite City, and some people are suspicious of some of POLUT Corp.'s activities.
Notable Events[]
Tour[]
Upon arriving here with Mabel, Lucy and Lucas, the group will be taken on a tour around the building. They are also joined by the Mysterious Trainer, whom the player once battled in Galvanite Cave earlier. He introduces himself as Jake and joins the group, wanting to discover more about the Soul Crystals.
A tour guide leads them thourghout the facility, showing off the POLUT technology. The group also stops for food and decide to form a team. They then meet Battle Star Faust and Dr. Vanta on the way out.
Infiltration[]
While the player is battling in Sepharite Battle Theatre, Jake sneaks into the secret lab in Room #5 using a keycard he stole from the tour guide Lidia to see what experiments were being conducted. He finds that the POLUT Corp. was planning on creating an army of Protogon to sell to warring states for profit and is planning to use the corrupt tablet to make the Loomian more powerful. He runs away to inform the player, but is seen during his escape and followed by guards. After escaping, he gives the player a POLUT Silver Keycard.
Going into the campus, the player must talk to the guard blocking a staircase to the sewers, where a secret entrance to the laboratory complex is located. The guard complains that he is hungry and asks the player to give him sushi. The player must then go to the New Sushi Stick restaurant in Sepharite City and obtain a Dubious Sushi which, when given to the guard, will cause him to have stomach ache and leave his position for the restroom.
After the guard is gone, the player can enter the sewer and go through the first sewage pipe that leads to a door. After going through the door and up a series of stairs, there is a corridor with Rooms #1 through #3. With the POLUT Silver Keycard, the player can only enter Room #2 and Room #3. He or she must go in Room #3 to obtain the POLUT Gold Keycard left in a blue handbag. The higher-level key card grants the player access to Room #1 as well as a balcony where a Boost Token can be found in a box. After defeating all the guards in Room #1, a green button has to be pressed to open a door at the other end of the hallway. Once opened, Room #4 will be exposed that connects to a corridor to Room #5, where top secret experiments are being carried out. Upon arriving, Dr. Vanta infuses a piece of the tablet into the Protogon, turning it corrupt. Protogon escapes the test chamber after being defeated, forcing Dr. Vanta and his crew to flee Sepharite City in fear of being charged with releasing a dangerous Loomian to the public.
Notable Places[]
Room #1[]
Room #1 is a security room only accessible with the POLUT Gold Keycard. The room is full of computers and TVs linked to surveillance cameras used to monitor activity inside the Laboratory complex. Once the player defeats the POLUT Commander, he or she has the option to press the button, which opens up Room #4 and Room #5.
Room #2[]
A researcher of the corporation studying Scorbs can be found here. He will use spare parts salvaged from destroyed Scorbs to upgrade the player's Scorb or its evolutions by teaching it new moves or evolving it. The following are the cost of services:

Room #3[]
Room #3 is a locker room for researchers working in the facility. A Blue Handbag rests on one of the benches where players can obtain the POLUT Gold Keycard. One locker is secured by a codepad that requires a 12-digit code to open. The code is different for every player and each clue can be found in three locations in the laboratory complex:
- Four digits are written on a whiteboard behind a wild Loomian during a wild encounter and during a trainer battle.
- Four digits are found behind the second-to-last tinted glass in the upstairs room overlooking the reception (the same room a Boost Token is found).
- Four digits are found on a whiteboard in Room #5 (the same room where the player fought Protogon).
In order to create the complete code, the dashes must be replaced by the numbers from the other parts of the code. Once the locked is opened, the player finds a Vantacorp Keycard that can be used to access the Vantacorp Vault on Route 7.
Room #5[]
Room #5 is the main laboratory where Dr. Vanta conducts his top secret experiments, including the development of Protogon. There are two containers hooked up to the chamber, the right contains various Soul Crystals while the left contained the dark stone tablet. On the left side of the room is a whiteboard that contains four digits used to unlock the code-pad in Room #3. To the left of Room #5 is a garage which Dr. Vanta will use to escape once the player defeats Protogon. A move manual can be found under one of the trucks. On a shelf at the left is a log written by Dr. Vanta detailing his experiences after the failure in Vantacorp.
Vanta Log X |
---|
“It has been a little over ten years since the accident. My plan to restart my company was a success. Today is actually the tenth anniversary of POLUT Corp.” |
“Thanks to the revenue from our technology department's advanced cyber gear, funding for my newest projects has been steady. Fabricating "partially organic," i.e. biomechanical, Loomians is our greatest accomplishment. These Loomians are designed, manufactured, and programmed to be obedient. They serve different roles that will help clean up the unfortunate, messy by-products of developing our cyber tech.” |
“After enough successful trials with these artificial Loomians, I will finally be back to work on creating a stronger, this time obedient, life-form. I believe it will elevate this company to even higher heights.” |
“In the wake of my success, I sometimes remember my failure all those years ago. That... thing is now locked away deep within the earth, in a place which I will never have to set foot again. My failure can finally be put behind me, as I continue to bless this fallen world with my magnificent inventions.” |

Description[]
The Navigation entry for POLUT Campus in each installment of Loomian Legacy is listed as follows:
Game | Description |
---|---|
VoS | The company leading the future, POLUT Corp., is the producer of innovative products, such as cyber enhancement used by the inhabitants of Sepharite City. They've also created some part-organic, part-cyber Loomians to help clean up Sepharite City. |
POLUT Campus is available in all games of the Loomian Legacy series. |
Trivia[]
- If the player refuses to press the green button in Room #1 ten times, a rock will fall on it and press it instead.
- In Room #02, there is a small blueprint of a “Mecha Twilat.”
- On 1st April, 2021, as an April Fools' trick, POLUT Campus was affected by Heavy Rainfall and Strong Gusts simultaneously.
- There is an NPC in the POLUT Campus, standing outside of the main building, who notes a game called "Call of Loomi", a reference to the popular video game franchise, Call of Duty.
- After the player finishes the tour on POLUT Corp., the tour guide mentions that she had misplaced her identification card when she was giving the player's group a tour. The POLUT Silver Keycard given to the player by Jake is likely the identification card of the tour guide.
- For a few days during the 2022 Holiday Event, one of the pictures on an employee's ID card was changed to a green Gamma Gleaming Icigool. This was part of a giveaway for a green Gamma Gleaming Icigool organized by LuckyHD, where players had to find an image of a green Gamma Gleaming Icigool and a hidden phrase somewhere on the map.
