Biology

Characteristics

Phancub is a bipedal, bear-like Loomian with grey and purple fur. Its face is partly creamy in color with a purple nose and its eyes are orange. Phancub’s limbs are violet with lighter pinkish paws. Its belly has two stitch marks separating its gray and darker purple fur. It is presumably based on a phantom teddy bear that came to life.

Phancub's Valentine's form has light brown fur, tan skin, and light blue eyes. It is also holding a red heart-shaped box and wearing a red bow.

Phancub's Sweets form is very similar to its Valentine's form's design, the most noticeable difference being a box of chocolates that the Loomian holds in place of a heart.

Origin

Phancub's design comes from a (cursed) teddy bear/stuffed toy. It is typically worn out and has a large rip on the middle and bottom left of its body. Phancub is a portmanteau of phantom and cub, referring to its species and type.

Phancub's Valentine's form's design is much smaller, and rounder, reflecting the look of a normal teddy bear. This may stem from the fact that teddy bears are often given as a romantic gesture on Valentine's Day. The Phancub is also holding a heart; a symbolic shape of Valentine's Day.

Phancub's Sweets form's design features a rectangular box of chocolates being held by the Loomian while appearing very similar to its Valentine's form. The box of chocolates is likely a reference to where this Loomian could be found; Sweet Retreat.
