Rally Ranch is a location where players can assign their Loomians to rally new Loomians with similar qualities. The ranch is located on Route 6 and constitutes a large farm, a rural wooden house and an area for Loomian Care access.
Rally Ranch[]
The ranch consists of a large, single-floor farmhouse with a fenced-in pasture. The pasture is a mostly open field with a nearby windmill, large patches of dark grass in its deeper parts, and hay bales sparsely scattered around the farmhouse as well as some tree stumps. A person is seen playing a banjo with a male and female Cafnote while sitting on steps leading to the pasture from the farmhouse. In front of the ranch, Mr. Rally walks nearby a pair of Loomian Care stations. Nearby trainers discuss their relationship with the ranch. The Saddle Shop is located to the right of the entrance and is run by a man named Sawyer, who stands next to his Trumbull.
Inside, three farmhands discuss rallying and their time on the ranch. Four bookshelves contain additional information about rallying, including information about rallying feeds, toys, and totems. There is also an NPC who tells players the location of Llamba each day.
Rallying[]
Rallying is a process of acquiring new Loomians over time by using other Loomians already owned. It is managed by a man named Mr. Rally, who walks around the front of Rally Ranch.
Rallying Basics[]
- Loomians can be rallied by designating a Loomian as the Rally Leader. Over time, Loomians of the base evolution stage of the Rally Leader's species at levels 1–5 will arrive.
- Because rallied Loomians are said to show up from the wild, some species are so rare that they are unfit to be the Rally Leader. Currently, these Loomians are Roaming Loomians, Petrolith Loomians, most Event forms of Loomians, the unique variants of Goppie found in Bob's Pond, Icigool, Boonary, and the Pyramind line.
- Certain Event forms of Loomians are able to be the Rally Leader, however the rallied Loomians will be in their normal forms instead of their Event form.
- Loomians unable to become Rally Leaders can only be chosen as Rally Assistants.
- A second Loomian may be optionally designated as the Rally Assistant. If the Rally Assistant shares a type with the Rally Leader, the time it takes to rally will be reduced. There is no restriction on Loomians being designated as the Rally Assistant.
- There are three rally slots by default and nine with the Rally Charm. Once rallied, Loomians may be immediately kept and moved into Loomian Care, or released, and new Loomians will continue to be rallied as slots are freed.
- Special items may also be optionally used that allow the rallied Loomian's Personality and Unique Points to be more similar to those of the Rally Leader and/or Rally Assistant.[1]
- Abilities are randomly assigned with a 1/256 chance that the rallied Loomian will have its Secret Ability, increasing to a 1/128 chance if using the Ability Charm.[2]
- If the Rally Leader has a Secret Ability, rallied Loomians will have four times the chance of having it than usual, making the chances 1/32 and 1/64 with and without the Ability Charm, respectively.
- Alpha Gleaming Loomians have a chance to be rallied, with a base chance of 1/4096. This chance can be increased if using the Gleaming Charm and/or Gleaming Encounters ×16 LoomiBoost.
- Specific genders of Loomians are not required for rallying.
- Rallied Loomians are contained in the same kind of Capture Disc as the Rally Leader except for Ace Discs, which result in rallied Loomians being contained in a regular Capture Disc.
Rally Times[]
- A Loomian of the base evolution of the Rally Leader's species is rallied after a set amount of time has passed.[3]
- Only time while logged-in counts towards rally times, but this time may be spent in Adventure Mode, Battle Colosseum, Trade Resort, and Event Hubs.
- When a player switches loading zones or servers, the time towards rallying the next Loomian is reset to zero. This does not affect Loomians that have already been rallied to the ranch.
- When a Loomian is rallied, Mr. Rally will show a symbol above his head with the number of Loomians currently rallied. NPCs with this indicator also exist at the Battle Colosseum and Trade Resort, but will ask the player to return to Mr. Rally to claim the rallied Loomians.
- The time for a Loomian to rally depends on its species' required number of rally cycles.
- Each rally cycle takes 24 seconds, reduced by 25% to 18 seconds with the Rally Charm. The time is also reduced by 25% if the player is Trainer Mastery Level 59 or above. If the player both has the rally charm and has reached Trainer Mastery Level 59, the time is reduced by 50% to 12 seconds.
- The fewest number of rally cycles are needed when combined with a Rally Assistant that shares a type with the Rally Leader. Without this assistant, each new Loomian will take 1–6 more rally cycles to appear.
Each species falls into one of four speeds:
Group Name | Time | Species Included (by base evolution) | |
---|---|---|---|

Rally Items[]
- More information: Unique Point and Personality
There are three categories of items that can be used to affect the rallied Loomians. Players can choose up to one item at a time from each category.
Category | Image | Name | Description | Obtaining Method |
---|---|---|---|---|
Toys | Rubber Toy | Rally Loomians that share a personality trait with the Rally Leader or Assistant. | Trainer Mastery Level 4 | |
Toys | Bouncy Ball | Rally Loomians that share a positive personality trait with the Rally Leader. | Trainer Mastery Level 6 | |
Toys | Puzzle Cube | Rally Loomians that share a positive personality trait with the Rally Assistant. | Trainer Mastery Level 19 | |
Toys | Yo-yo | Rally Loomians that have the exact same personality as the Rally Leader. | Trainer Mastery Level 39 | |
Feed | Stromberry | Rally Loomians that share at least one Unique Point with each Rallying Loomian. | Default | |
Feed | Blumelon | Rally Loomians that share at least two Unique Points with each Rallying Loomian. | Trainer Mastery Level 12 | |
Feed | Tutifruit | Rally Loomians that share at least three Unique Points with each Rallying Loomian. | Trainer Mastery Level 22 | |
Feed | Wonderbean | Rally Loomians that share at least four Unique Points with the Rally Leader. | Trainer Mastery Level 32 | |
Feed | Jewelfruit | Rally Loomians that share three to five perfect Unique Points with any of the Rallying Loomians. | Trainer Mastery Level 78 | |
Totem | Smiling Totem | Rally Loomians with two positive personality traits and one strong negative trait. | Trainer Mastery Level 24 | |
Totem | Scowling Totem | Rally Loomians with a strong positive personality trait and two negative traits. | Trainer Mastery Level 26 |
- If the personality of one of the rallying Loomians is Indifferent, the Rubber Toy will allow the other Loomian to always pass down one of its personality traits.
- When using a feed that draws values from two rallying Loomians, the rallied Loomian will not attempt to inherit the same UP stat from both the Rally Leader and Rally Assistant at the same time. For example, if a Loomian rallied with Stromberry is inheriting the Health UP of the Rally Leader, it will inherit a different UP from the Rally Assistant.
Rally Moves[]
Through rallying, it is possible to teach Loomians additional moves that they cannot learn through leveling up. Each Loomian family has a unique set of moves that can be learned.
There are two ways to teach a Loomian one of its rally moves:
- Rally a new Loomian while either of the rallying Loomians knows the move. Newly rallied Loomians will know the move.
- Set a Loomian with an empty move slot as the assistant while the leader knows the move. The Rally Assistant will learn the move, which takes approximately one minute per move. This method is commonly referred to as Reverse Rallying.
- A Rally Assistant can learn multiple moves from the same Rally Leader, but will learn them randomly, one at a time.
- This method is required for those Loomians which cannot be set as the Rally Leader, such as Roaming Loomians or Event Loomians.
There are a few special cases:
- If an Umbrat with Gloom Fangs and a Luxoar with Luminous Roar are rallied together, the newly rallied Twilat will be taught Gloominous Roar.
- If a newly rallied Loomian could learn more than four rally moves, it will choose between them at random.
- It is not possible to use the Move Reminder in the Battle Colosseum to relearn the moves that were not selected.
Below is a table of all rally moves that can be learned by each Loomian. Evolutions are omitted, but all evolved Loomians share the rally moves of their pre-evolutions.
