Scorb Parts are exchangeable and held Items introduced in Loomian Legacy - Veils of Shadow. They are spare parts from Scorbs that can be given to a researcher in Room #2 of the laboratory complex at POLUT Campus to evolve and teach moves to the Scorb family. They can also give special battle effects to Scorb and its evolutions when held.

One Scorb Part has a 90% chance of dropping from a non-Corrupt wild Scorb upon defeat, whereas the other 10% of the time it will drop a Strong Magnet.

Effects[]

In Battle[]

Scorb Parts give special battle effects when held by a Scorb, Veylens, or Gardrone. They also slightly change the appearance of the holder.

  • Scrap Metal, when held by a Scorb or Veylens, increases their Melee Defense and Ranged Defense by 40%.
  • Spare Cable, when the holder's Health drops below 50%, is consumed and heals the holder for 25% of their max Health.
  • Clear Lens, when held, makes all of the holder's moves become Sure Hit moves, able to bypass Dodge.
  • Flame Core, when held, gives the holder the Fire Type, slightly altering their appearance, and boosts the Strength of their Fire-type moves by 20%.
  • Freezer Core, when held, gives the holder the Ice Type, slightly altering their appearance, and boosts the Strength of their Ice-type moves by 20%.
  • Voltaic Core, when held, gives the holder the Electric Type, slightly altering their appearance, and boosts the Strength of their Electric-type moves by 20%.
  • Power Core, when held, boosts the Strength of the holder's moves by 20%, but makes them cost 25% more Energy to use. The holder's appearance will also be slightly altered if held.
  • Quantum Core, when held, decreases the Energy Costs of the holder's moves by 25% and slightly alters their appearance.

If a Core is removed from the holder via a Move or Ability, the appearance and/or typing change will still persist throughout the battle.

Overworld[]

Scorb Parts can be given to the scientist in Room #2 in the laboratory complex at POLUT Campus to teach moves to Scorb, Veylens and Gardrone as well as evolve Scorb and Veylens. They are used up upon consumption.

  • 1 Quantum Core and 3 Power Cores are needed to evolve Veylens into Gardrone.
  • Scrap Metal is used for teaching Melee moves, while Spare Cable is used for teaching Ranged moves, with the only exception being Metal Blast, which requires the use of Scrap Metal despite being a Ranged move.
