Shawchi has a Halloween form, which could only be found in Heiwa Cemetery during the 2019 Halloween Event with a 1/500 (0.2%) chance. Alongside the Halloween form, Shawchi also has a Rainbow form which could be found anywhere in Roria during the 2022 Rainbow Event with a 1/1000 (0.1%) chance, and a Angler form which could be found in Loomunity Park during the 2024 Loomunity Event with a 1/100 (1%) chance.

Shawchi is a squirrel-like Loomian with pink eyes and ears, brown fur and a squirrel tail. It has two buck teeth, wears a pink spotted witch hat with a green stripe and ribbon, and holds a stick.
In its Halloween form, the stick is replaced with a broom. Its hat has an orange and dark purple color scheme instead. It also rides the broom and follows by flying when the player starts to walk. The broom references stereotypical witches.
Shawchi's rainbow form is almost identical to its normal form, but Shawchi's hat, ribbon and stick constantly change through the rainbow colors.
Origin[]
Shawchi is based off of witches and squirrels. Shawchi's name possibly comes from "Sha Chi" (煞气), a term in Feng Shui (风水) that refers to negative or harmful energy that can disrupt harmony in a space (i.e. negative Chi). Shawchi embodies this concept with its signature move, Foul Chant.

Shawchi is the first Loomian that is able to hold an item in the wild, the item being a Mystic Wand.
When Shawchi was first released, they could be found in the wild as a male, despite the developers intending Shawchi to be a female-only Loomian. This glitch was quickly fixed, and all male Shawchi were reverted back to female.
Shawchi was accidentally removed from the Loomipedia in v0.3.11c.
