Slugling is a slug-like Loomian with a sprout growing on its back, resembling the shell of a snail. The sprout appears to be growing out of a patch of soil, located on its back. Its vivid colors imply that it is highly poisonous, scaring off potential predators. In its evolved form, the sprout grows into a tree, most likely a cherry blossom well known for its pink flower petals, or a subspecies of oak trees that have pink flowers.
Origin[]
Slugling's appearance resembles a slug or snail. Its name is a portmanteau of slug and sapling, being a reference to its species and type. The latter part of its name may be the suffix -ling, referring to its diminutive size.
Description[]
The Loomipedia entry for Slugling in each installment of Loomian Legacy is listed as follows:
Slugling is tied with Wassel for having the lowest base Melee Defense stat out of all Loomians so far, at 10.
Slugling is one of eleven Loomians to make an appearance in the game before becoming accessible, the others being Twilat, Gastroak, Kabunga, Goppie, Polypi, Jellusa, Somata, Clionae, Moldecca along with an unnamed Loomian that first appears in Route 8.
Slugling is also one of eight Loomians to make an appearance in-battle before becoming accessible, the others being Kabunga, Goppie, Polypi, Jellusa, Somata and Clionae.
Prior to the v0.2.0 update, Slugling gave Health TPs instead of Ranged Defense TPs.
All other Loomians that are obtainable through set encounters either have only one set encounter or infinite, with Slugling being the only Loomian obtainable through a finite number of set encounters to have more than one set encounter.
