Training Point (TP) is one of four contributors to a Loomian's final stat, the others being Base Stat, Personality and Unique Point. Each of the seven stats has its own Training Point value.

Training Points contribute ⅛ as much as Base Stats to the total stat. Loomians start with 0 TPs and gain them when earning experience in battle. The number and type of Training Points gained, known as the TP yield, depends on the species of Loomian defeated. A Loomian can have no more than 500 Training Points in total, and up to 200 for each stat.

A player can check a Loomian's Training Points on the Training tab of the Loomians app by looking at the table at the bottom of the tab. From there, the player can reallocate the Training Points they've collected by removing them from specific stats and giving them to other stats. Any Training Points can also be left unassigned, meaning the Loomian still possesses the Training Points without them benefitting the Loomian's stats.

Increasing TPs[]

Apart from defeating Loomians, Training Points can be increased with certain items:

  • Training Gummies increase the TPs of a stat by up to 10 as long as the Loomian has less than 500 total TPs. If the stat has 200 TPs invested into it, the remaining TPs will be added as unassigned.
  • TP Resets are retired items that now increase the TPs of a stat by up to 20 as long as the same conditions as Training Gummies are met.
  • The Protein Shake doubles the amount of TPs received by a Loomian in a battle when held.
  • The Training Points ×5 LoomiBoost quintuples the amount of TPs given from defeated Loomians.
  • The 2x Training Points Game Pass doubles the amount of TPs given from defeated Loomians.

TP Training[]

Although Loomians can acquire Training Points in any of their stats, investing TPs in just a few stats can make a Loomian stronger in battle. Selectively allocating Training Points for a Loomian to get the best TP combination is known as TP Training.

The stats to invest in depends on the Loomian's Base Stats. For example, investing into Ranged Attack for a Loomian with high Base Stat for it will make that Loomian a strong attacker. On the other hand, investing in Melee Defense for a Loomian with low Melee Defense can help that Loomian tank more attacks before fainting.

Training Hotspots[]

Main article: Training Hotspots

Training Hotspots are trainers that can consistently provide a large amount of TPs over a given time. The hotspot for providing general TPs is Jenna on Route 5. The hotspots for specific stat TPs—Health, Energy, Melee Attack, Melee Defense, Ranged Attack, Ranged Defense, and Speed—are all located on Route 6, except for Energy, which is located on Lotusun Beach. While these trainers give specific types of TPs, they can be reinvested into any stat of the player's choosing after gaining them.

Four Energy Rule[]

Since many competitive Player-versus-Player matches are fought at Level 50, 8 TPs are required to increase the final stat by 1. This means that after investing 496 points (the biggest multiple of 8 under 500), there are 4 points remaining that cannot increase any stat. However, because Energy utilizes a different formula to calculate the final stat, only 4 TPs are needed per stat increase. That means the best use of those 4 points is to invest it in Energy.

The Four Energy Rule does not work if the final Energy stat has a remainder of 3 or 6 when divided by 20. For example, if a Loomian's final Energy is 303, the remainder of 303/20 is 3, so adding 4 Energy TPs would not increase it.
