Trick Retreat is an event-exclusive bakery and Halloween-themed version of Sweet Retreat that served as the main hub for the 2024 Halloween Event. It is comprised of two additional subareas, namely Haunted Woods and Sweet Sanctuary.

Notable Events

Catching Cinnaboo

After players have earned a total of 25 Cake Points (or made five perfect cakes), Cinnaboo will appear hiding in one of many different locations around Trick Retreat or Sweet Sanctuary. If the player interacts with the Cinnaboo, it will move its hands away from its eyes and a battle begins, giving the player a chance to catch it. The player may perform this action an unlimited amount of times.

Cake Creation

Cake Creation is a minigame where players must work together to take orders from NPCs and make cakes for them. Each player must operate one machine at each station, with five stations in total. If the order is followed successfully, every player who contributed will be given five Cake Points, with one point being subtracted for every mistake. Additionally, one point is rewarded immediately after successfully completing each task. Players who are inactive at a station for 90 seconds are kicked from the station. Cake Points can be used to buy items at Head Chef's Goodies.

Order Station	Here the player will take orders for NPC characters who enter the place and can select from three batters, three icings and three toppings. If the receptionist makes a mistake, the correct recipe will still be on the cake when on the conveyor, but the cake loses one point.
Batter Station	In this part, players will have to put the correct flavor of batter into a cake-shaped bowl. There are three batters: Pumpkin Spice, Chocolate, and Vanilla.
Baking Station	In the oven, players will have to hold a button down to balance a pointer into the green area. Keeping it in the light red area for too long makes the cake come out undercooked, while too long in the red area leaves it burned. Having at least 4 out of the 6 green blocks result in a successful completion.
Icing Station	Players have to put the correct icing on the now cooked cake. The three flavors are Slime, Black Licorice, and Witch's Brew.
Topping Station	The last part of the minigame, players will put toppings on the cake. The three toppings are Gumdrops, Marshmallows, and Candy Corn.

Trivia

• Six of the machines in the cake factory resemble different Loomians, most being Corrupt.
  • The machine that produces the metal pots resembles Corrupt Chompactor.
  • The batter station's piping machine resembles Corrupt Veylens.
  • The baking station's oven resembles Corrupt Geksplode.
  • The icing station's piping machine resembles Dyeborg's paint canisters.
  • The topping station's dispensers resemble Corrupt Concredon's cement mixer.
  • Near one of the top corners of the inside factory, there is a vent that resembles Corrupt Stratusoar, along with the back spikes.
• Similar to Sweet Retreat, depending on how many jobs were successfully completed, every contributing player would get a bonus of that amount at the end. The NPC who ordered the cake will have the following to say depending on the cake ratings.
  • 0 points: The cake is a lie!
  • 1 point: You only had 5 jobs...
  • 2 points: Oh, come on...
  • 3 points: Oh, thanks, I guess.
  • 4 points: Good job. Thanks.
  • 5 points: Amazing! It's perfect!
• Customers of the cake factory are various NPCs throughout Roria, sporting Halloween-themed costumes. NPCs from previous Events appear as well, such as the witch that appeared in previous Halloween Events.
  • Some notable costumes include Jake dressed up as a Metronette, Mabel dressed up as Jake when the player first meets him, Lucy dressed up as a Ragoon, and Lucas dressed up as a clown.
