Upcoming Content refers to future updates to the game that may include new areas, Loomians, and game mechanics. Information regarding upcoming content is typically released by Llama Train Studio on the official Loomian Legacy Discord server or the Llama Train Studio Twitter account in the form of images, sneak peaks, and roadmaps. All upcoming content is subject to change.

General Roadmap[]

Roadmap 06012023

Loomian Legacy Roadmap.

The general roadmap for future content in Loomian Legacy shows what's to come with the next major updates to the game. Route 9 is expected to be a snowy route full of Ice-type Loomians. Raid Battles will also become a permanent addition to the game sometime in the future, adding new Loomians, Soul Burst Crystal rewards and much more.[1]

Upcoming Locations[]

Route 9[]

A new route that will be released after the Atlanthian City Part 2 update. It is said to be "freezing cold" and will become accessible via the Cheshma Train Station.

Frostveil[]

A new location that houses the next corrupted tablet, as stated by the player's dad. It will likely become accessible after Route 9. It is not clear what sort of location Frostveil will be.

Upcoming Game Mechanics[]

Additional Profile Card Customization[]

Players will be able to additionally customize their Profile Cards with Character Poses in future updates. In addition, it was teased that the ability for players to display their favorite/rarest Loomians on their Profile Card will be coming in a future update. Also, more Backgrounds, Badges, Frames, Titles, and Name Colors will progressively be added in future updates.[2]

Adventures[]

Adventures Tab Main Menu

"Adventures" Tab in Main Menu

The main menu has included a tab labeled "Adventures" as an option since launch, but it has been unable to be selected since then. There has been no official news on it as a feature, but it is assumed that functionality will be given to the button in future updates.

PvP Team Builder[]

Team Builder Reveal

Team Builder UI.

The Team Builder (also referred to as "Dream Teams") is an upcoming mechanic to be introduced shortly after the PvP Rework update. This feature will give players the ability to freely create and test Loomian teams for PvP battles against other players' "Dream Teams". Loomians will be fully customizable, including the ability to change its Personalities, UP values, TP values, gender (if applicable), name, level, Ability, and Item. The Loomian can also be changed into its Alpha or Gamma Gleaming forms, with Gamma Gleaming Loomians also having the ability to customize its wisp. These created Loomians will not appear in the player's Loomian Care system and are exclusive to the Team Builder. Players will also be able to import teams that other players have made and export teams that they make for others to try. Dream Teams will only be able to be used in Casual ruleset battles.[3][4]

Raid Battles[]

Raid Battles were introduced as an experimental feature in the v0.4.8b update as a part of the 2023 Easter Event. Players were able to battle Dreggodyne and earn rewards for a limited time. When the 2023 Easter Event came to a close, Raid Battles were removed from the game. They returned for a sidequest given by Mr. Ferrix where the player is tasked with defeating the Soul Burst Loomians that are appearing throughout Roria. They have since returned in many subsequent events featuring new Soul Burst Loomians or re-runs of previous Raid Battles. Raid Battles may receive an overhaul before they make a permanent return to the game sometime in the future.

Weather Condition[]

One possible new adverse weather condition, Snowstorm, is expected to be released into the game sometime in the future. It is unknown what Snowstorm will do in battle.

Snowstorm is expected to have a move and ability that summons the weather in battle, like Hazy Shroud for Dense Fog and Rain Summon for Heavy Rain.

Other game features that the developers are considering, which may be added in the future:[5]

  • Daily Quests
  • Universal PvP matchmaking

Moldecca is a giant whale-like Loomian seen swimming around Atlanthian City and is spoken about when the player arrives there for their first time. It's said that Moldecca showed up a few years ago, with people theorizing it could be trying to protect the city. After the story events at the Lost City, Moldecca starts swimming towards land, specifically the Battle Colosseum. This Loomian is expected to make future appearances in the game.
