Vari is a Simple-type Loomian introduced in Loomian Legacy - Veils of Shadow. Vari has a 1% (1/100) chance of being encountered anywhere in Roria after reaching Level 9 in Trainer Mastery. In addition, Vari has a male and female form, which are encountered at a ratio of 1:4 respectively. Under normal circumstances, it evolves into Cervolen starting at Level 20, but can evolve into Wendolen, Kirolen, Zepholen, Venolen, Wresolen, Buzzolen, Tundrolen, Pyrolen and Hydrolen under certain conditions (see § Evolution).

Vari has a Rainbow form which could be found anywhere in Roria during the 2022 Rainbow Event with a 1/15000 chance.

Vari's Snorkel form was obtainable by redeeming a code. It is unable to evolve into any other form.

All 10 of Vari's Varilution forms could be found in Jolly Festival during the 2023 Holiday Event at a rate of 1/50 (2%). These forms cannot evolve.

Characteristics

Vari is a small, quadrupedal, fawn-like creature with two short tails and large grey eyes. Vari's male form has small orange horns on its head, but the female does not. Vari's entire body is orange-brown with white and tan accents. While Vari's design is based off a fawn, it also holds many fox-like traits.

Origin

The name Vari comes from the Latin stem "var", meaning change, referencing its many evolutions. This root is also part of the words vary, various, variety, or variable, further expressing the different evolutions that Vari can evolve into depending on various variables.

  • Vari is the first and only Loomian to evolve through fainting.
    • However, after the Vari Update, there was a glitch which allowed Scorb to evolve into Veylens, and then into Gardrone by making it faint to a wild Loomian, then defeating the wild Loomian.
