Biology[]
Characteristics[]
Zuelong resembles a Chinese Dragon, and has a long, slender body that is mostly yellow in color with its front portion being a darker shade and it has a white colored tail. Its four legs are black and thin. Zuelong’s face has whiskers and two lightning-bolt-shaped horns.
Origin[]
Zuelong is based on a Chinese dragon. Its name is a portmanteau of Zeus, the god of the sky and storms and the king of the gods in Greek mythology and 'long' [龙 (Simplified), 龍 (Traditional), lóng (Pinyin), the Chinese word for dragon, referring to its appearance and type. The 'long' part of Zuelong's name may also be from the Chinese dragon Shenlong, or referencing its long body. Like its previous evolutions, it may also take inspiration from mustelids. Its name is also similar to the Zhulong from Chinese mythology, a creature with the body of a dragon and the face of an old man, referring to its classification as the Elder Dragon Loomian and its appearance.
Description[]
The Loomipedia entry for Zuelong in each installment of Loomian Legacy is listed as follows:
Zuelong are recorded in history as both a bringer of rain and prosperity, as well as harsh storms and destruction. Ancient Rorians both worshipped and feared them.
Zuelong is available in all games of the Loomian Legacy series.
Zuelong has the highest Speed stat of all fully evolved Beginner Loomians, having a base Speed stat of 119.
In addition, Zuelong also has the lowest base Melee Defense stat of all fully evolved Beginner Loomians, having a base Melee Defense stat of 60.
When the Zuelong Saddle L was released, Zuelong's model and animations received an update, likely to update its previously stiff design and match the introduced saddle.
Zuelong is the first and currently only Beginner Loomian to receive a model update.
Consequentially, it's the only Beginner Loomian to lack an attacking animation, as a new one was not made for its remodel. Its old model did have an attacking animation.
